[edit] Grand Final

Did Jimmy Barnes sing a duet with Turner for this performance?--Jeff79 23:30, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

Also I'm not sure that 1993 was the year of the advertising campaign for the winfield cup: see [1] and [2] In the article I've put two versions that I found. Maybe it was for two seasons.--Jeff79 03:14, 8 May 2007 (UTC)

Actually Tina was involved from 1989 through to 1995. Both articles you cite are relevant. Brad Stephens was a planner at the ad agency. The 1990 ad effectiveness article was more wishful thinking than reality at that time as Simply The Best was in it's first year and still had enormous results yet to be achieved at that time. The Brian Walsh article is humorous. Truth is that Brian Walsh was the PR man for the NSWRL; he was very involved at promoting the game and got great PR for the ads but he didn't in any way create the campaigns (the 89 one that first used Tina nor STB from 1990 onwards). But success has many fathers and Brian Walsh wouldn't be the promotions man he is if wasn't good at promoting himself.Sticks66 12:52, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Jeff I might create a sub page at my user page to build up the chronology of the NSWRL ad campaigns before bringing them over to the articlesSticks66 12:52, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

I don't understand why anyone would remove information about the Grand Final like that. I like seeing who played in what position and I'm sure other readers would appreciate it too. Since we can make the information as complete as possible, why on earth wouldn't we? The quality of information in more complete articles should not be reduced to match less complete articles.--Jeff79 19:33, 1 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Nswrl 1988.jpg

Image:Nswrl 1988.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
