[edit] Group of islands?

I've heard this name referred to in the plural: the New Hanover Islands. If more belong to a group of the same name, then perhaps this article should reflect that. --Jwinius 17:02, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

  • I think the term "New Hanover islands" is used to refer to the small islands around New Hanover Island. Given that "New Hanover Islands" gets 70 hits on Google, and "New Hanover Island" gets 2160 hits, I think the current name is probably the one to use. I've just created some redirects: New Hanover islands and New Hanover Islands now lead here. Cheers, Wantok (toktok) 02:13, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
