Talk:New Guinea river shark
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Where?
The article includes "... taken some 60 km up the South Alligator River, Papua New Guinea, in 1996, and in 1999, five females and two males from the East, West and South Alligator Rivers, in brackish water, ..."
Is there really a South Alligator River in PNG as well as the East, West and South Alligator Rivers which are all in the Northern Territory of Australia (see Alligator Rivers)?
Also, why is this called a New Guinea river shark when most or all have been seen in Australia? --Scott Davis Talk 10:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
