-John Hamm may have been born in New Glasgow, but has made his home in Stellarton for at least 20 years, if not much longer. Mike Smith is from Thorburn, a small community closer to the Plymouth/Stellarton area than to New Glasgow. My complaint with this article is that many of these notable persons are from other towns in the Pictou County area and it is incorrect to place them in an article exclusively about New Glasgow. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.29.238.34 (talk)
