[edit] Named after what?

Is New College really named after New College, Oxford? I thought it was named after the body that founded it, namely the New University Colleges Council (established 1960). There is an article on the history of the college's founding at sydneyanglicans.net and also the official website. Journeyman 23:48, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
