It would make much more sense to redirect "New Bedford" to New Bedford, Massachusetts. The whaling park is never referred to simply as "New Bedford", the Illinois city is much less notable, and the other 3 municipalities are redlinks, and therefore don't even need to be listed here. New Bedford, MA is a very historically important city, and is clearly the primary meaning, as all "What links here" for New Bedford refer to the MA city.
