[edit] Portal blurbs

As I mentioned on the Featured portal discussion page, a few of the portal blurbs seemed to need a little expert attention. The ones that jumped out at me on a quick read were Transportation in New York (the first two sentences are rather clumsy, and it might be better to link transportation some other way), New York Islanders (seems to end abruptly), George Westinghouse, Jr. (seems to end abruptly) & Paul Jackson Pollock (mentions marriage twice, ends rather abruptly).
