Newtown Middle School

Newtown Middle School is a middle school in the Council Rock School District. It is located in Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and serves grades 7 and 8.

Established in 1954, the school was originally the district's high school. In 1969 a more modern high school (now Council Rock High School North) was built nearby, and the original high school became Newtown Junior High School, and in 2002 became Newtown Middle School. It is one of three middle schools in the district and was the first one to be used. The current principal is Richard Hollahan. The Vice Principal is Timothy Long. The school has 3 teams for 7th grade (The Trailblazers, The Voyagers and the Pros), and 3 other teams for 8th Grade (Endeavor, Luminaries and Stargazers). It is located at 116 Richboro Rd in Newtown Pa.

The school also offers Art, Music, Computers, Industrial Technology, Health & Physical Education, Family & Consumer Science, and Career Exploration. The school has an exceptional band, jazz band, jam band, wind ensemble, orchestra, and choirs.
