Newton "Newt" Livingston III is a fictional character (played by Jason Dolley) on the Disney Channel sitcom "Cory in the House".

Newton is Meena's friend and Cory's new friend at University-preparatory schoolprep school. He is into rock and roll music. He is like the charecter Chelsea, from Cory and the House's mother tv series, That's so Raven.In one episode it is seen that he loves eating fish. newt plays the guiter and is in the band "DC3" with his friends, Cory and Meena. newt seems a bit clueless, but sometimes thinks like a genius, stupefying Cory and Meena. He is also Student council president. His catchphrase in almost every episode is "Awsome".
