Newsweek Views the News (also known as Newsweek Analysis) was an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The series ran from 1948 to 1950. It was a public affairs program hosted by Ernest Lindley. Editors of Newsweek magazine interviewed guests and discussed current news events.[1]

The program, produced and distributed by DuMont, aired live on Monday nights at 8 on most DuMont affiliates. The series was cancelled in 1951; DuMont replaced the series with Visit with the Armed Forces.
