Newshounds II is a satirical furry webcomic created by Thomas K. Dye, which started on July 2, 2007.[1] This is the sequel to the first Newshounds.
It continues from where the first Newshounds left off, with Lorna Dilbrook, former manager of KPET, the news station with an all-animal staff, now working as the chief news editor for MegaNewsWest and her animal staff working in less important jobs. The major story so far has been Ferris the Rat eating a sandwich,[2] from which he becomes seriously ill to the extent Kevin J. Dog believes he is dead.[3] However, it turns out he was poisoned by one of the staff.
Dye plans to publish a book of strips some time in the future.[4]
