News Jab@ 9 is a half-hourly news programme on MediaCorp TV Channel U. It is broadcast daily at 9pm SGT, and is very similar to the channel's News World@ 11 News programme, which runs for the same duration. However, as the name suggests, News Jab@ 9 only brings to the viewers short "bite sized" news reports. It has a separate segment, which News World@ 11 does not have. The programme brings a two-minute rap of the world's news. At the end of the programme, there is always a short preview of what's to come in the 11 o'clock news, News World@ 11.
