Newport Retail Park

Newport Retail Park (formerly known as Spytty Park) is an out-of-town shopping centre in the city of Newport, South Wales in the United Kingdom. It is located in the Ringland/Spytty area of the city and is accessed via the Southern Distributor Road (which connects to junction 24 of the M4).

The retail park is large and is home to many shop units, car sales garages and restaurants. There is a Cineworld cinema and a Tesco supermarket.

These include Arcadia, ASDA Living, Boots, PC World, Tesco, Iceland, Blockbuster Video, Matalan, Next, SCS, Staples, Brantano Footwear, The Range, VW, Audi, Nissan, Renault, Peugeot, Carphone Warehouse, Sally's Hair & Beauty and JJB Sports.

The restaurants currently consist of McDonald's, Frankie & Benny's and Pizza Hut.

The retail park is currently being refurbished to provide a more contemporary look. The company that ran Megabowl entered administration in 2006 and the unit has been vacant since. The future of the unit is unclear.
