Newbury Gold Cup Chase

The Newbury Gold Cup Chase is a Grade 3 National Hunt chase in the United Kingdom for five-year-old and above horses. It is run over a distance of 2 miles 4 furlongs (4,023 metres) at Newbury Racecourse in early March. There are sixteen fences to be jumped in the race.

It is a handicap chase and was first run in 2004. It was run as the Vodafone Gold Cup until 2006, the VC Casino.com Gold Cup in 2007 and the Connaught Gold Cup in 2008.
