Newbridge, Isle of Wight

Newbridge is a village on the Isle of Wight. It is located nine kilometres from Newport in the west of the island. It is between Newport and Freshwater. The village has its own shop, post office, social club and holiday park with indoor and outdoor swimming pools. There is a church in Newbridge, the Newbridge Wesleyan Methodist Chapel.

The Caul Bourne stream running through Calbourne passes through Newbridge and Shalfleet and discharges into the Solent at Newtown.

It is linked to other parts of the Island by Southern Vectis circular bus route 7, serving Freshwater, Yarmouth and Newport including intermediate towns.[1]
