[edit] Sports
The school's sports team mascot is the tiger (usually depicted as a siberian tiger), and NHS is member of the Pacific Conference. The Tigers play such sports as football, basketball, volleyball, soccer, wrestling, and water polo. The strongest sports at NHS include men's and women's water polo and wrestling.
NHS is also strong in other areas, such as the outstanding drama department, the Future Farmers of America, and the consistantly amazing Symphonic band.
