New school hardcore

New school hardcore is a musical genre of recent bands that emulate the sound of early Hardcore.
Not to be confused with the now popular metalcore and its subgenres, this refers to fast, heavy, punk bands of today, such as Aus Rotten, Born/Dead, Behind Enemy Lines, World Burns to Death. Many of these bands are affiliated with anarcho-punk influences and ideas.
