The New Zealand national cricket team will tour England, Scotland and Ireland during the northern summer of 2008. They will play three Test matches and five One Day Internationals and 1 Twenty20 International against England. New Zealand enjoyed mixed success in the warm up matches with one win and two draws, and in the England camp a number of batsmen were under pressure after less than successful performances in New Zealand earlier in the year. The first test of the series was hit by poor weather, with nearly two complete days lost. Nevertheless, Jacob Oram and Michael Vaughan hit the first hundreds of the series, with 101 and 106 respectively.
