The New Zealand Writers Guild (NZWG) is a New Zealand trade union which represents writers in the fields of film, television, radio, theatre, video and multi-media. It has a membership of over 500 and is affiliated with both the New Zealand Council of Trade Unions, and the International Affiliation of Writers Guilds.
The NZWG's first President was the distinguished playwright Bruce Mason.
