Currently, New York Water Taxi operates a fleet of 8 vessels, of two distinct types. Each vessel is named for, according to the company, the "unsung heroes of the New York harbor." The Seymour B. Durst, Ed Rogowsky, and the Sam Holmes are each capable of carrying 149 passengers at a speed of 26 knots. The Curtis Berger, Mickey Murphy, John Keith, Schuyler Meyer Jr., and the Michael Mann are each capable of carrying 74 passengers at 24 knots. All vessels are twin hull and can sustain massive amounts of abuse from the elements.
