New York State Route 96A is a state highway in the Finger Lakes District of New York, USA. The highway is entirely within Seneca County and is a north-south road between Seneca Lake and Cayuga Lake, two of the large Finger Lakes. NY 96A is two lanes for most of its length, with the exception of the 3 mile four lane section at the northern end. The highway formerly ended at a Trumpet interchange with NY 5 and US 20, however this interchange was removed in the late 1980s, and a traffic signal was installed.
The southern terminus of NY 96A is at NY 96 in the Village of Interlaken. The northern terminus is at the conjoined U.S. Route 20 and NY 5 in the Town of Waterloo, just east of Geneva, NY by the community of East Geneva.
