New York State Route 362 is a short state highway located entirely in Wyoming County. It runs north-south between NY 39 just south of Bliss to NY 78 two miles to the north. Route 362 was assigned by 1936.

Route 362 begins at an intersection with New York State Route 39 in a small business district south of Bliss. The highway heads northward, intersecting with Wyoming County Route 58 (Main Street), passing homes and small businesses along the way. The route then leaves the business district and enters a more forest-filled area known as Pearl Street. The route passes through Bliss uneventfully and tcontinues northward through a more rural area. Crossing the town line, Route 362 changes names to State Route 362.[2]
Route 362 continues northward, intersecting with local roads before terminating at an intersection with New York State Route 78 north of Bliss.[2]

Route 362 was assigned to its current routing in 1936 and has remained intact since.[3][4]
