[edit] Route description

Route 346 begins at an intersection with NY 22 outside the hills of the Rensselaer County state forest. Much of the beginning of 346 is going downhill out of North Petersburgh. The highway crosses a creek and intersects with County Route 95, a road which leads to Mount Anthony. Route 346 parallels County Route 96 on the other side of the creek and passes to the south of Mount Anthony, where it crosses the state line into Vermont and becomes Vermont Route 346.[2]
