New York State Route 220 is a state highway located in the south-central part of New York, USA. NY 220 is considered an east-west highway, although its course wanders considerably from north-to-south, totally inside Chenango County. The western terminus of NY 220 is in the community of Smithville Flats in the Town of Smithville, near the west county line of Chenango County, where it intersects NY 41. The eastern terminus is in the Town of Oxford, where it intersects County Road 32 east of the Village of Oxford.

Communities

NY 220 begins at an intersection with NY 41 and Chenango County Route 2 in Smithville Flats. The road begins by going to the northeast until it enters McDonough.[2] In McDonough, 220 turns to the right and heads towards the village of Oxford. Making several changes in direction, 220 comes to an end at Chenango County Route 32 in Oxford.
