New York State Route 170 is a state highway in Central New York, running from the city of Little Falls to the town of Fairfield, in Herkimer County.

NY 170 begins as East Monroe Street in Little Falls, at its intersection with North Ann Street and West Monroe Street, which are NY 169.

NY 170 starts heading in an easterly direction, turning left and climbing a steep hill before passing the municipal golf course and leaving the city.

In Little Falls, an erroneous "north NY 170" assembly is present on NY 169 northbound as it leaves its concurrency with NY 5 and NY 167.
