New York State Route 136 is a state highway in New York State. It begins at US 4 in North Greenbush just south of Troy and ends at NY 150 in Wynantskill. It is located entirely within Rensselaer County.

NY 136 provides access to the La Salle Institute and Joe Bruno Stadium at Hudson Valley Community College. Across from NY 136 is Glenmore Road (Rensselaer CR 76), which provides access to the Headquarters for the 42nd Infantry (Rainbow) Division of the New York Army National Guard.

The Williams Road section of NY 136 from US 4/CR 76 to CR 74 (Winter Street Extension - Old NY 405) was formerly Rensselaer CR 70. No date has been known when Williams Road was being upgraded to state maintenance to become part of NY 136.
