New York State Route 102 also known as Front Street, is an east-west highway in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County, New York that runs between West Hempstead and East Meadow along the south side of NY 24, where it also terminates at both ends. In the Village of Hempstead itself, Front Street is unmarked until Williams Street. The road also goes under the Meadowbrook State Parkway, but has no connecting ramps to or from the parkway. The bridge does however have a right-of-way for an extra eastbound line, thus indicating that at some point, the New York State Department of Transportation planned to widen the road to four lanes east of Hempstead.
