New Values is Iggy Pop's third solo studio album and his first without David Bowie being involved in any way. Released in 1979, it was Pop's first record for Arista and the first collaboration by Pop and James Williamson since Kill City. The album reached number 180 in the Billboard Top 200 album chart. Videos were made for "I'm Bored" and "Five foot One". The album was far more popular in Europe than in the United States.[citation needed]
