New Torpedos

New Torpedoes were an English band that at one time featured current L.A. Guns singer Phil Lewis, guitarist Rudy Rivera, bassist Dave Birch, and drummer Paul Edwards.

Phil Lewis was in this band between the time he had been in the bands Girl and Torme.

Dave Birch and Paul Edwards had previously been in the band 720.

New Torpedoes recorded a demo tape.

1984 - Phil Lewis leaves to join Tormé full time. Replaced by 'Misty.' Rudi Riviere leaves to join Terraplane/Thunder. Replaced by Andy Barnett (Visage, 720, Corey Hart, later of FM, ASaP, Barnstormers et al) and Dave "Bucket" Colwell (another ex-720 member, later to Bad Company ).

Appearance on ECT 5/31/85 on UK television with the singer Misty, guitarist Dave Colwell, guitarist Andy Barnett, bassist Dave Birch, and drummer Paul Edwards line-up.
