New South Wales Winter Super League

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The New South Wales Winter Super League is the second-highest state level men's association football division in New South Wales, Australia. The competition is conducted by Football NSW, the state's governing body.

After the end of 2006, Penrith Nepean United left the competition for the NSW Premier League and PCYC Parramatta Eagles are now into the Winter Super League from Premier League. Syney Wanderers, Canterbury Bankstown Berries and Dulwich Hill were demoted out of the competition to State League Division 1 and Mt Druitt Town were promoted from Div 1 to the Winter Super League.

In 2008 there will be a shake-up of the whole New South Wales Mens, Womens and Youth competitions. There will be a restructuring of the youth teams so they're aligned with their Senior Clubs. There will be also a restructuring of the Men's Senior competitions including new teams added to the NSW Premier League and a new Promotion/Relegation system.
