New South Wales Department of Aboriginal Affairs

The New South Wales Department of Aboriginal Affairs (DAA) is a department of the Government of New South Wales with responsibility for policies that support Indigenous Australians.

The Department's vision is to "work in partnership with Aboriginal people in New South Wales to achieve social, economic and cultural independence."[1]

The Department is headed by Ms Jody Broun and reports to the Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Paul Lynch.
