New SIU stadium (tentative name) is a description of a new multi-purpose stadium in Carbondale, Illinois that is currently in the planning stages. It due to be completed in 2010 and will sit 15,000 spectators. The stadium will be located on the campus of Southern Illinois University and will host the schools American football program , replacing McAndrew Stadium.
