New River Community College is a community college in Dublin, Virginia, United States, in the New River Valley of southwestern Virginia.

The school opened as New River Vocational-Technical School in 1958 and came under the jurisdiction of Virginia Community College System (VCCS) in 1966. The school's name was changed to its present name in late 1969.

The school recently broke new ground by starting a Video Game Technology program, and is one of the few institutes in Virginia to provide this service. This program is housed at the New River Community College New River Valley Mall Site, on VA 114.

This junior college is in close proximity to both Virginia Tech and Radford University. Because of this it serves as a resource for students who wish to complete core courses before transferring into four-year degrees. NRCC is also a leader in workforce development in its service region of Giles, Pulaski, Montgomery, and Floyd counties.

New River Community College can also refer to New River Community and Technical College in Beckley, West Virginia.
