New Plymouth Observatory was opened in 1920 and is situated on Marsland Hill, Robe Street, New Plymouth, New Zealand, and is the home of the New Plymouth Astronomical Society (NPAS).
The Society meets the third Saturday of every month,and opens the Observatory to the Public, Tuesday evenings 7.30-9.30 (Winter) 8.30-10.30 (Summer). Group bookings by arrangement. The Junior section of the society meets the last Friday of the month (Feb-Nov) 6.30-8.00.
