New orthography for Korean language was the official Korean orthography in North Korea from 1948 - 1954. It was the most morphophonological of Korean orthographies. It added five consonant jamo and one vowel jamo to hangul, which were:
1. For convenience they are also called 여린리을, 된리을, 반시읏, 여린히읗, 위읍, and 여린이.
2. Also called "죽는ㄹ(죽는리을)", or "silencing ㄹ".
3. Silenced.
4. Combined with a following vowel, ㅘ, ㅙ, ㅚ, ㅝ, ㅞ, ㅟ sounds will result.
5. Combined with a following vowel, ㅑ, ㅒ, ㅕ, ㅖ, ㅛ, ㅠ sounds will result.
