New Mexico State Road 80
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Mexico State Highway 80 (or NM-80) is a short (21 miles) north-south state highway in southwestern New Mexico between Interstate 10 and the Arizona state line, where it feeds into Arizona State Route 80 just southwest of Rodeo, New Mexico. The highway angles westward toward the south (or eastward to the north), leading to (with AZ-80) Douglas, Arizona from Interstate 10.
Lying entirely within Hidalgo County, New Mexico, it is the only section of the old U.S. Highway 80 that Interstate 10 did not supplant in New Mexico. It traverses sparsely-populated territory and has only one intersection with another New Mexico state highway, New Mexico State Highway 9.
