New Media Age (also known as NMA) is a weekly news magazine, covering business use of interactive media in the UK.
New Media Age is owned by Centaur Media. It was launched as a newsletter in 1995 under editor Phil Dwyer. The magazine is aimed at people within UK companies using interactive media to communicate with their customers, and at the companies providing the products and services that make this communication possible. It is available by subscription or from selected newsagents. An annual subscription costs in the region of £99.
New Media Age maintains a website at [1]. The site carries breaking news that is available free. It also houses the content of the latest issue and the magazine's archive, but these elements are open to subscribers only.
Since 2000 the magazine has produced an annual list of the top 100 marketing and advertising agencies specialising in interactive media. In 2006 it added a companion guide to companies providing marketing services in the interactive sector.
New Media Age also runs two sets of awards: the NMA Effectiveness Awards, launched in 1997, and the Interactive Marketing and Advertising Awards, launched in 2004. The magazine also runs the Online Marketing Show in conjunction with its sister title, Marketing Week.
