New Lots Avenue is a two-track, two side platform station. The platforms are offset, and the exit is located in the middle of both platforms.
South of the station, the line becomes an open cut to East 105th Street. North of the station, the line becomes an elevated structure.
Transfer is available to the B15 bus to JFK Airport.
