The New Jersey Department of Community Affairs is a governmental agency of the U.S. state of New Jersey.
Governor Jon Corzine nominated Joseph Doria as Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA), replacing Susan Bass Levin, a nomination that must be confirmed by the State Senate.[1] Doria assumed the commissionership on an acting basis on October 10, 2007 and is expected to be confirmed by the Senate in November 2007.
The commissioner may also serve as a member of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority if appointed by the Governor.
