The New Guinea big-eared bat (Pharotis imogene) is an Vesper bat endemic to Papua New Guinea. It is listed as a critically endangered species due to ongoing habitat loss. It is the only member of the genus Pharotis.
The species is known from only 45 specimens collected in 1890. The specimens (all female) were collected near Kamali in southeastern Papua New Guinea. As it has not been seen since it is generally considered extinct.
