New Cathedral Street
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
New Cathedral Street is a new pedestrianised upmarket retail area of Manchester, England. It runs between Exchange Square and St Anne's Square. The street is home to the Manchester branch of Marks and Spencer, Selfridges, and Harvey Nichols as well as the largest Ted Baker store outside of London. Other major upscale stores found on the street include Lacoste, Louis Vuitton, Reiss, Henry Lloyd, Massimo and Cecil Gee.
The street and buildings that stand on the street today were all built as part of the rebuilding since the 1996 IRA bombing of the city centre.
