[edit] History

The band started out playing for fun in 2005 and have since gone on to support The Strokes, as well as touring nationally themselves. They played the 'BBC Introducing...' stage at Glastonbury Festival in 2007. They were one of the five Introducing acts selected to perform at the BBC Electric Proms,[1] and performed at the 2006 Latitude, Witness, and Summer Sundae festivals.[2] In the weeks preceding their performance at the BBC Electric proms their stories were followed by a series of five documentaries, and they went on to play at the BBC introducing UK tour.

They were described by Channel 4 as "One of the country's most exciting new bands", and have been compared to Kaiser Chiefs,[3] The Futureheads, Bloc Party,[4] Weezer, and Franz Ferdinand.[5]

Their first single, "You Won't Stop" was issued on Fantastic Plastic, the follow-up, "Recover/Retreat" released on Maps' Last Space Recordings label.

Next single 'Hearts Don't Beat Right', is released 31/03/08.
