New Brighton Tower was a 172.8 metre or 567 foot tall observation tower built of lattice steel in New Brighton, Wirral. Its construction started on 22 June 1896. The tower, which weighed 1,000 tons, was completed in 1900. In contrast to Blackpool Tower, New Brighton Tower had an octangular cross section.

New Brighton Tower, like Blackpool Tower, had a ballroom under its legs. Additionally, there were shows in the building close to its feet. Many famous acts played in the ballroom, including Little Richard and The Beatles.[citation needed]

The tower was dismantled between 1919 and 1921 and the buildings were destroyed in a fire in 1969.
