New Bonaventure is a small fishing community located on the Northeast shore of Trinity Bay, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. It had a population of 73 in 1940 and 61 in 1956.

Old Bonaventure is a small place in the Trinity Bite area. The first Postmistress in 1961 was Edna Toope. It had a population of 85 in 1951 and 100 in 1956.
