Description

GSMNP Backcountry Campsite 27, near the confluence of Newt Prong and Jakes Creek in East Tennessee. The Jakes Creek Train Wreck of 1909 occurred in the vicinity. Just off camera to the right is a spur trail with an old skidder cable sticking out of the ground.
