LANDSAT image of New Orleans, Louisiana

This only shows a portion of the city proper. Visible is the Faubourg Marigny at lower left, 9th Ward lower right, and New Orleans east with Lakefront Airport on the shore of Lake Pontchartrain at top. A bit of the Mississippi River is at bottom; the water line bottom to top in the left half is the Industrial Canal. -- Infrogmation 05:11, 5 Feb 2004 (UTC)
