[edit] Never Mind The Buzzcocks Talk
"Victims of host Mark Lamarr's attacks include Robbie Williams, Phil Collins, Blue, Westlife, Geri Halliwell, Claire Sweeney, Dido, Patrick Kielty, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Elton John." Surely there should be some mention of the ever-tortured James Blunt in there?
Agreed - I'll add him to the list. But please sign your posts when yo edit the talk page. --DVD "Cock" Smith 19:37, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dani Filth
Did that really happen? Was that why he was so incoherent?
[edit] External Links
Just thought I would add this ( http://epguides.com/nevermindthebuzzcocks/ ) to the external links page. It has an extremly comprehensive list of all the episodes and their original air dates and who was in the show.
Any Objections? Help plz 14:37, 11 May 2006 (UTC)
added external link to the Mark Maron VH1 USA version of buzzcocks, currently being re-aired. http://www.vh1.com/shows/series/buzzcocks/ Foxhill 13:19, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Number 4?
No mention of the regular genius "number 4" Applestone!
The man is so gifted.. all he has to do is appear in the line-ups when the 'has been' is black and just stand there.
- Err.. Athelston Williams already gets a good big paragraph and a half in the article under identity parade and also a mention in trivia, if you wish to expand any of it, go ahead Foxhill 23:01, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
Was Athelston Williams not commonly known as "Number 5", referring to the position he held in the line up when he appeared the first few times?
[edit] Article contradicting itself
This article seems to contradict itself, in the intro it states that Marc Lamarr has only taken a break from the show and that Simon Amstel is wrong in claiming he is the new permanant presenter. It then says in the first section that Lamarr has definately left the show permanently. Which is right? --Achmelvic 16:22, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
- i read it as the article deciding toward the end that mark has left permanently, which is a shame. however, i cant be sure -SleweD 18:02, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Confusing text
Hi. I've just read this article for the first time and was thrown by the line "and Elton John, who in the 2004 Christmas special he wished had died twice in the same year".
After re-reading it I'm assuming that during the 2004 Christmas special Mark Lamarr said he hoped Elton John would die twice that year. Although I'm sure the comment was funny at the time, I don't think it merits inclusion in this encyclopædic context, particularly with its current confusing syntax. Unless it's rephrased or expanded I believe it should go. ↔ Dennywuh 19:04, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
- I tried to rephrase it slightly last night what do you think of it now? Agent452 20:33, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

- Clearer, easier to read. ↔ Dennywuh 10:33, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
172.209.144.4 (talk) 16:27, 22 December 2007 (UTC) In his first appearance as a panelist Mark Lamarr joked that Amstell was "stealing his act". I think this is confusing. It seems to suggest that Mark Lamarr made an appearance as a panelist, but it doesn't mean this, confusingly. Commas really shouldn't be omitted like this! I've rephrased it, as you can see.
[edit] "controversial guests"
Does Donny Tourette (Towers of London) deserve a mention in this section...after all he did walk off for a while and was generally rude plus the smoking thing. Although I'm not sure controversial is the same as being an asshole.
Oh and mentioning walking out didn't Lemmy from motorhead walk out although that was during the reshoots (I'm sure during the Preston episode Phil Jupitus mentions that Lemmy walked out) Agent452 20:31, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Continuing guests
Is there a third? I just noticed "Swaying drunk guy" in series 20 episode six. and I'm sure he was in a marl lamarr one as well (Mark tried to get him to walk in a straight line, pretending to be a kebab shop) Agent452 03:17, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Inspector Rock
Inspector Rock was played once in Series 21, but (I think) under a different name (I forget what). Can anyone confirm this? 79.64.76.12 (talk) 21:48, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] List of Rounds
As the list of first rounds is rather long and many are now redundant would it perhaos be better to reword the article to reflect this? Perhaps by changing it to currently played rounds or even by creating a new article with a full list? I don't mind doing it just looking for opinions. I'll wait a few days before doing it for opinions etc Agent452 (talk) 16:11, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
This is just a guide, minus the descriptions at the moment but if we make a new article this is what I would like it to look like this Agent452 (talk) 16:11, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
- Without any objections I'll go ahead and make the changes, however I'm not 100% sure how to sum up the first round as it changes often. Agent452 (talk) 21:06, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Is there any reason why you've removed the "bonus" rounds Amstell has, such as 'Davro or Dennis' etc.? And also you seem to have doubled up one-off rounds and discontinued rounds.--RemoveTomorrow (talk) 02:59, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah there was a reason...I cocked it up it should be fixed now. Agent452 (talk) 12:31, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
The rounds article has existed for a while now and I've been trying to find references for each of the games. However youtube is only so good and time constraints have meant that I can't always find the time to scour them for examples. Can anyone else also have a look at it and attempt to cite the episodes that examples of the games played? ta muchly Agent452 (talk) 22:13, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
