"Never Took the Time" is a R&B single recorded by Akon from his second album Konvicted. It was the sixth single of the album and debuted in the end of 2007. The song talks about his lost love and how he still wants to try the relationship again, claiming that she "never took the time to know me," that "loving you is all I ever had," and that "because of you now I'm just a lonely man."^[1]
