Neve Sha'anan (Jerusalem)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Neve Sha'anan (Hebrew: נווה שאנן‎) is a small neighborhood (centered around a single street with the same name) in central Jerusalem. It is located in between the Israel Museum and the Givat Ram campus of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. The neighborhood's original houses were destroyed to make way for the Israel Museum, and were rebuilt further down in the valley, at the current location. Two tall apartment buildings were later built by Hebrew University as dormitories, but are now occupied by families, including those of many University professors.
