Nevada currently has three congressional districts.

[edit] First District
The first District seat is the smallest of Nevada's Districts and consists of Las Vegas, parts of North Las Vegas and the surrounding unincorporated lands.
The seat is currently held by Shelley Berkley, a Democrat.
[edit] Second District
The second District seat was created by the 1980 Census and encompasses the majority of the state, with the entire northern half and most of the south. It includes the state capital, Carson City, as well as the major cities of Reno, Elko, Sparks and Fallon.
It is currently held by Dean Heller, a Republican.

The third District seat, having been created by the 2000 Census, is the newest of Nevada's congressional Districts and includes some suburbs of Las Vegas, Henderson and other smaller cities and towns.
The congressional seat is currently held by Jon C. Porter, a Republican.
